29M Guitarist looking to join/form 80s-inspired rock/metal band

Hi, I am a guitarist looking either to form a new band or join an existing band, with intentions to gig/perform, and hopefully to write some originals. I have some gigging and performing experiences, though rarely in the genre that I hope to play in. Committment-wise I am hoping for weekly, or biweekly practice. I work full-time, so either weekday nights or weekend mornings would be best.

My influences are 80s rock and metal - bands like Scorpions, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Helloween, and so on. I also listen to 80s and 90s progressive rock and metal like Rush and Dream Theater. I am also heavily influenced by many power metal and neoclassical bands (Dragonforce, Gamma Ray, Rhapsody of Fire, Dragonland, Galneryus, X Japan, Versaillies). I listen to a variety of other genres too (2000s alt rock, mandopop, jazz fusion, theatre).
