Hey, I love my EBMMs and my Strats... but if Gibson pays me $120,000 per year to endorse their products and gives me free guitars, I'd sell out too!:mrgreen:

hahahha im talking about fans saying bands are "selling out" because of a change of direction in their music....but its a nice thought you got there

1.looks - def les paul. got the heavy look n feel loL...
2.shaped - single cutaway makes it hard 2 access higher frets n no contours for arm. but killer looks >.<
3.tone - nice warm, rough, growly? tone i love >.<
4.neck - erm. compared 2 my fren's skinny strat neck i prefer my LP...

but i must say the strat's tone is lovely as well... n so much lighter >.<
+ i think the strat is more versitile imo.

but both great guitars!!!

I hear the Gibson office here sponsors any band n in return, the band has to use Gibson gear. Hmm. Heard this from Beez n there was this young group who came to his shop with Gibson guitars. Is Gibson becoming a commercial brand now? Hmmm.

Anyway, I`ll take a Strat over a LP anyday. The Strat is versatile, something that a LP can't do.

LPs for its tone and shape.

Strats for its tone also and its awesome neck.

haha yes, malmy malm, i last remember sweep picking appergios from hell on my cream-colored fender custom shop guitar hero cream strat. yums.
