King of POP has passed away. RIP Michael Jackson.

interesting that u say "they are a victim of consequences' when they are innocent and can be prevented from death...but i wont go into the political details...i guess when everybody dies, they are a victim of consequences then in one way or another...

If their deaths can be prevented, but they aren't, aren't they victims of the consequence of Man's doing, or in this case, Man's lack of doing? Usually the word 'victim' is often used in the phrase 'an innocent victim of'. So I do not get why you are implying that calling them 'victims of consequence' would suggest anything other than their innocence.

To stay on topic, Michael Jackson was clearly a victim of the cruelty that people are capable of doing on each other. Greed for money, media ratings, what-have-yous. Yes, he was eccentric, oftentimes just asking to be misunderstood, but he was clearly exploited by both the media and the people who were in his entourage. It's a shame.

RIP MJ I still remember those days when I watched that smooth criminal movie when I was just 5 or 6. Good times, I'll watch it again sometime.

I remembered few years ago when MJ and Malmsteen were both in town, a reporter asked Malmsteen if he's aware that MJ is in town too? Malmsteen sportingly played the reporter riffs from Beat It \m/

FITCH - wah! really? Cool man.

I was glued to MTV last night cos they were having a special documentary on MJ. It was so great to watch all his old vids that I used to love like Billie Jean, Thriller, Jam, Black or White, Will You Be There, You Are Not Alone.

Made me miss him even more :(

I'm not an MJ fan at all but my band been kena-ing MJ song requests since last thurs ngt .... all the way we been playing WE ARE THE WORLD ...

Yeah, I'll bet his songs are being downloaded like crazy too.

Yeah, we also keep getting a lot of MJ song requests. And thankfully, we've been able to do most of them.

Still am anticipating to see what kinda funeral/burial his family has for him.

And i read that the 750,000 fans that had bought tickets to his London concerts are hoping that their money not be refunded but instead be used to maybe hold a grand tribute to him or be donated to charity.

it would be fitting for the ticket proceeds to be given to charity, seeing as MJ was like the biggest humanitarian out there.

damn they have such a bad english accents.
especially the yellow tshirt kid and the one after him:)

In any case
Micheal jackson is truly a legend
Especially the one that born in the late or early 80s.
We were greatly effect by him and his live concert and his messages for the whole world and nation .
Well rest in peace Micheal.

Baik ah zal...

Michael Jackson or Mikaeel Jackson is and was the legend...

Ai ya, i felt so sad when I read the papers yesterday & the day before.

Even after he's long gone from this world, people still want to place him in some more negative light. Now his silly nanny, some Grace woman or something, has come out & said that his 3 kids feared MJ & that MJ wasn't that good a father to them.

And yeah, as we all know, MJ's cd's and dvd's and what not have been flying off the shelves all across the world & especially in USA. And like MJ's dad said, it's great that his son is even more loved & popular after his death but he just wished that MJ was still alive to see just how much his fans all around the world loved & respected him.

And there's talks that MJ was anxious & a complete wreck just days before he died. Saying that he had no choice but to agree to perform at 50 concerts when he knew that it wasn't possible. But he agreed apparently cos he was heavily in debt.

Sad lah.
