Keeping the pedals plugged

Even if it is switched off. Is this a good idea or will the batteries still be drained? I don't like to plug my pedal in and out all the time because one of the pedal has a loose screw and another pedal is extremely hard to pull out (secured plug...perhaps too secured!?).

Is it okay if I leave my pedals plugged with the patch / normal cable? Or is it advisable to not have it plugged even though it is switched off?

if pedal wanna remained plugged in with cable when theres battery inside, to prevent the battery from draining, just connect a power plug/dc chain to the power jack on the pedal. The plug/dc chain will break the battery connection internally. Most modern effect are wired this way(not all, but most, that can be power up with battery kinda)

Might as well use an adapter. You can keep your rig plugged in as much as you want. Don't have to worry about running out of battery right when you need it, since some pedals have a tendency to drain batteries very, very fast. :)
