Hmm.

Put it this way.. I kinda sling low myself because I love Led Zep (yeah I know you dun really appreciate LZ, ShredCow)

but I feel that I have reached a certain point in my guitar skills, and it's ok for me to refine my personal image a little.

I certainly did not go for the image when I first started out. That would be just dumb.

Well I have to say that what people play at the end of the day has to a certain extent a touch or more of their own individual character. How much is a different matter altogether because people have different goals when playing guitar.

actually the sex pistols (or was it the clash cant remember) 's bassist picked up bass for the sake of joining the band.

I think it's Paul Simonon of the Clash. He couldn't play and was learning along the way but check out the bassline of 'Guns of Brixton'! Proto-dub-hiphop siah!!!

both of their bassists play good stuff. so it dont matter

Er, bro ahkiatt bro, not Syd Vicious lah. He's more like a poster boy than someone who was even sober to play at all. Most of the basslines on their recordings were played by their previous bassist, Glen Matlock.

Sid vicious couldn't even play bass, it seems.

seriously, i have been searching and seem like everytime when i thought i might have found something new in playing, its already been donw and worst still, been done ages ago. Basically no more interest liao, just wanna talk bird :lol:
