Ized, like I said, I really don't think anyone set out to copy anyone. Joe Satriani's 'If I Could Fly' sounds like that Latino guy's solo in the video. Coldplay's 'Viva La Vida' sounds like one part of Joe Satriani's solo in 'If I Could Fly'.

I honestly believe its a matter of common creativity. If you look at it mathematically, it is very plausible that more than one artiste is able to come up with a tune like that. It isn't the most complicated tune afterall.

'If I Could Fly' is my all time favourite song by Joe Satriani, I could recognise that song backwards. And I am quite a big Coldplay fan. 'Viva La Vida' sounds perfectly like a typical coldplay hit song. I never knew Joe Satriani was someone like this but in my opinion, he is just in this for the money. 'Viva La Vida' is, afterall, one of the hits this year.

Learn to appreciate music as an art , there is no right or wrong . Btw Chinese Democracy will blow the metal out of your head kid . If you hate the band just don't listen to them , quit yapping about it .

i agree music is an art. But not anyone may like all forms of music, from blues to metal. You may hate the stuff i listen to but you don't see me getting on your ass and dissing you off.
