ibanez guitars,serial nos?

Jus checking,does all ibanez guitar comes with serial no.s on the headstock? cos ive seen some with serial no.s but nt on some others.Does those without serial no.s mean tat it nt a read deal? thnx..

serial number is just used for reference to identify the year that the particular guitar is made in. it can be easily peeled off if a person is not careful and stuff. for some of the artist series or hollow bodies, the serial number is in the body itself.

to check whether that guitar is the real deal or not, just compare the specifications of it to the real deal. either that or just use your eyes to spot the mistakes here and there.
