I WANT TO BUY A LANDGRAFF!!!!

dodgy beyond dodgy!!!

behold. shredcow is singapore's answer to MARKOM!!!

and just for some coincidental conspiracy trivia, HM's answer to MARKOM happens to be a chap called daniel2001.

*cue in dick tracy music*

Landgraff LDO
1. Shredcow
2. nickyseow

hahaha

That markom fella is seriously hilarious.

But can it be possible...MARKOM is actually shredcow himself....and is the one infecting every gear forum....with that gear disease and indecisiveness of his?

hehe. Markom on TGP? He has like. EVERY SINGLE PEDAL on the face of the earth. Well maybe he has some from mars? I dont know.

heh, dont let him have yours, he will make it sounds bad

ever heard the clips he did for the gear he had? Hahahaha, make ya think merzbow prolly can write a better ballad

who's MARKOM?

and who's being indecisive?! So offensive!!!

Steady, at least got someone else walk da talk... NICKY IS IN!!!

and no, I am not buying an LDO, i want the Mo'D!!!

I know Maksim (or something) who makes classical stink (according to a well known classical pianist friend of mine) but me don't know who MARKOM is... maybe i need to spend more time online...

markom: really rich kid...claims he buys pedals from the settlement he got when he was stabbed...too overenthu abt everything...and loves to take photos of his pedals neatly arranged but not once connected....

its like having invisible cables.

oh btw, i just built a new pedalboard with parts all from ikea.
total cost = $20.

HAHA.

damn cute stuff. will post pics when the varnish dries, the last handle screwed in, and the pedals, mounted.

markom is the biggest turd EVA. have you heard his clip of the TTE? Holy Shamoley Batman! Its like running a cheap aria electric guitar into a ds1 with settings on "raspy" and into some cheap behringer delay.

gosh he even uses van zandt cables. what an utter waste of cash.

start with arranging your pedals on the floor, and measure roughly the length and width of it.. for the tampines ikea, they dont have the lumber yard, but they have this FIVE DOLLAR shelf thing, that looks EXACTLY like a pedalboard. seriously. when i post pics of the finished product, you'll see why.

or if you can head to the OTHER ikea, you can ask for a custom size piece of wood, or two pieces, i.e if your "board" measures 70cm X 30cm, you could try getting two pieces of wood that are 35x15 that kinda thing, and ask for the wooden bits to join them together.

imho, your imagination is the limit as to how you want your pedalboard to look like. even with the handles and the "wire-neatening-solution" i bought, total cost was like 20 only. including the wood. The only draw back is that you dont have a case. but that can be bought on ebay, with those ata flight cases that cost around 80 usd that kinda thing.

so it really helps to have a rough idea, or picture in your mind, how your final product will look like.

I guess the only tools you'll need are nails, screws, a drill, some lacquer(for cosmetic purposes), some carpet or 'VELCRO" brand industrial strength velcro, and handles (if you'd like), and a pencil to mark out drill-spots.

haha thats the horrid prob about self made pedal boards, finding a case is a pain!

i ocned used a wood plank from art friend, but couldnt find something to fit it... ive given in and now im looking for a mrmisse pedal case... or possibly a pedaltrain pro if thats too small...

haha if u spend 80usd on a casing might as well go for the misse pedal cases

Played a MADE IN USA TS clone... with Landgraff mods.

It sounded... sad.

Very sad.

Mind you, its a boutique thingy, with proper PCB, nice neat shiny soldered stuff... modern components and stuff... I'm sure, technically, its shines there.

but sound wise?

Too hi-fi. Couldn't "feel" it - lacked a certain amount of sag. Top end sounded... maybe "fake"/"un-natural" is the word.

I need mojo.

never trust soundclips.

PRS - boutique pedal - boutique amp - karaoke mic - tape recorder

Squire - some modded pedal - some vanilla amp - sm57 - Protools

There may be some truth in that but given time you can figure out the character of *a* gear!

Musicians dont just listen to *a* sound ...they feel it !

I didnt mention anything about a tape recorder

this was properly recorded through ...if i remember...a shure sm57 and a condensor mic...into protools...i dun remember...i shld try and find the clip...

and as goosey mentioned.....after months of listening to clips...you can discount for the recording and not hearing the 'air move around the amp'
