guess i got poor technique..... :(

what's your main instrument? cos if you want to play an instrument devote your time to it .. i'm not saying that you cannot learn other instruments .. sure you can but have main instrument to play ... i play the bass, drums, guitar .. gonna learn the keyboard soon . but my mainstay instrument is still the bass .. amazing instrument to do stuff on .. look at victor wooten .. marcus miller you'll know .. =)

Nope. no time for it... FYP + 2 bands + church + sonic edge + freelance commitments leave very little time for other stuff in school :/

im looking for a new bass for jamming purposes. i dont want to carry my fender with the loose strap nut everywhere. any suggestions guys? a 4-stringer would be nice. i was thinking about the yamaha attitude 3notes was selling. ah hahaha.

RE the loose strap nut.. happens lots to me too. I ended up taking those things you stick into drilled holes in the wall to put screws in to reinforce the hole and there hasn't been a problem since.

attitude is very good if you're looking for a warm sound... friend bought 1, sold it and ended up buying another

The loose strap button problem is usually due to the body wood being too soft, and the screw being to small/short.

All you need to do about it is to
1) Glue in a toothpick into the hole
2) Use an extra long screw to secure the button - the one on my bass is about 1.75"-2" long 8O

seriously i dont know what is it. ive never touched a drill in my life. hahaha.

if i put the toothpick in, how will i be able to screw a even longer screw in?

i nearly dropped my bass while playing the other day because of the loose strap nut man. the screw kinda unscrewed itself so much even though i already screwed it all the way in. but when i turn it even tighter, it still moves but doesnt go in. for those of you who have got a loose screw (haha), please please secure it.

don't turn it tighter! the only thing you're doing when you do that is stripping the wood until there's nothing left for the screw to grip :/

usually the thing comes with a longer screw mah .. .i had a tough time trying to get my straploks on my warmoth .. cos the hole super small .. managed to get it in after muscle cramps and stuff ... not fun mannnnn
