How many basses you have?

Hee my hand not big

John Patitucci bass quite jialat .. you must have a relatively large pair of hands to play that bass cos the string spacing is 19mm ... quite mad lah .. but it's his signature model anyway ...

IMO a bassist would be incomplete without at least a j or p bass... but that being said, I'm trying to sell my Sadowsky... :p

but it's to fund a Nordstrand fretless Jazz for myself :)

Yeah, quite agree with cherns, thinking of whether i should get a j or p bass to compliment my current lineup.

hmm, if i am not wrong, i am the one who attended to u at guitar workshop when u collected your bass. u were saying that your bass was heavier than usual right? i hope i got the right person, haha.

amnesiac - oh! i remember you ... Melvin right?? .. ahahah .. it's quite a interesting place to meet you here. Glad to see you around!

superkicky - Year 2, my course is interactive media design .. IMD in short ... what bout you? from Design school also?

stillborn - yes, my name is Jason .. goodness .. i didn't know someone will know me in this forum .. do i know you stillborn?

i bought ur hamer some time back...tot ur gear history looked familiar......lol

you're new bass looks real nice....... :)

oh!! .. Mark right? ... how's the bass .. you still have it? I sort of regretted selling it cos i really liked it ... if you wanna sell it tell me again ok? ... i'll buy it from you .. =) =)

ARGH!!!!! ... it's okay lah .. i wanted it back cos i wanted the pickups back .. ahahah .. wanted to pull it out and install it on my Warmoth .. then get a set of passive SD's and put them on the Hame .. convert it to a fretless ... there goes my dream setup ...

hm .. not really .. for me i found them quite okay .. i'm a light touch player lah .. my thumb employs a floating technique .. i don't always stay on the pickup all the time .. i will rest my thumb on the string to mute it .. if i have to ..

yes jason, that's me haha. yea, i recognized you by your bass. it seemed rather familiar. how do u like it now? better? :)

certainly! that pickguard helped reduced the spacing between the strings and the body so it feels really nice to do slap stuff on it now .. i gotta admit though the strings i bought to replace it weren't that nice to slap on it though . i'll rectify that problem once i change my strings . but really nice to play now .. =) ..

ahh ok.. well, don't hesitate to send it back in if you have any problems :) and yes, it's a very very nice bass, no kidding. i tested it and i was like, wow, i loved the feel of it, so smoooth. haha. glad that u find it ok now..
