how do u overcome anger?

Try take up sport like bicycle racing, most of the roadie are consider volcanoes headed.Get your own club,you will lose at first cause you will be racing against many,start your own diet get advice from pro,go to the gym,get strategy planning,have enough rest,you realize you didn't win the race. It take years to control your anger because in your mind you are not fighting against one man but "mountain".Until you mature enough you realize that one to one fight is like taking candy from amateur.there are people that defend themselves against 10,20,30 or even 100 man, they are the saints among us. Don't take up martial art you'll injured others or worst killed.Learn to control yourself, control your mind first,your heart, your "stomach",your breathing.Fight only to defend yourselves from the blow.(you'll be charge under Rioting). Honourable man knows how to control his might, richman used money to make people work for them (police,lawyer,doctor or even politician). Rules(Law) are set to follow not abuse.Good luck to you.

Ha ha you are a cyclist? I'm for about 4 years already. You are right about venting the anger on the bike, that's what i do but not a good way when riding as a group and on the road. Either you die in a crash or u die of a heart attack. I almost black out once whn i vent my anger and drop my group when i speed off...

To TS, my advice, you need professional help since you are at the stage that almost brush with the law. it's good you acknowledge you have a problem becz some ppl juz denied thy have a problem. Go to a GP tell him about your problem and ask him to refer you to a specialist. Most probably you be put on anti-anxiety drugs the same use on people with Panic attack and depression. It won't harm it juz calm you down and with counseling you will recover soon.

Remember it's nothing to be ashamed of. I respect you that you openly confess about your problem here. Now if you are serious about fixing it get it going and don't wait before you ruin your own life or somebody else life. Before you get angry and feel like beating the shit out of the other person remember that he/she is somebody's son/daughter, somebody's wife/husband, somebody's brother/sister... he too have someone that will shed tears for him/her... think about it before you do anything stupid. It's juz ain't worth shit.

so...you anger easily....people & the things people do angry-fy you and provoke your anger...

just count to ten and breathe out the word 'goos-fra-bah'....it should work....

if you find that your anger cannot be contained / controlled....try joining the Omega boys....and you will get an outlet to vent all that anger.....but try to keep out of jail tho...

on the other hand, you can pick on a band like retro groove ..when they do their cover of 'living on a prayer' .....and smash the whole stage to smithereens......

Whenever I get angry (let's say at someone), I'll pause for a moment to clear my thoughts and then try to understand what that person is thinking from his/her point of view and whether it's something that I would do if I were him/her.

If I understand where the person is coming from and agree with it, then I'll just move on.

If not... Well, I'll just listen to my music and pretend that person does not exist. :p
 
perhaps one other way is to control your breathing..people underestimate how breathing can help your physical and mental state. try noticing your breath when you're angry. more often than not you're taking short, rapid and irregular breaths. as opposed to when you're relaxed...slow and paced, deep, and even breaths. controlling your breathing may help calm your body and mind.

I once smoke a joint with a taxi driver... that driver rocks... we started chatting about music and next we r smoking weed cruising along PIE:P no shit it happeneds.

How about some breathing exercises? Just breath and exhale deeply and repeat.I find them to be pretty good at clearing your mind.
