how bad is NS?

I personally think its better to go army 1st.... Later u finish ur dim then do ns...u'll 4get everything... like me.... All my A lvel stuff left in the jungles of lim chu kang liao.... haha... come out army feel so stupid... Tt they was helping my O level fren... suddenly simple maths must think like damn long b4 can answer.....

wow...NS sounds like a terrible experience man... :? I dont like the fact that they are taking away 2 years of our life that we'll never get back. Im still in year 1 poly, sometimes i do think about NS n wonder how bad its gonna be. I'm sure that in no time, i'll be out of poly, and into NS, sounds damn tough man. But what puzzles me is someone mentioned that ppl get naps during BMT? I heard from older friends that BMT is extremely "fierce", how come got naps one?

One thing you could do is hang out with a couple of friends who have already ORD'ed and they'll share their experiences in the army with you.
It kinda prepares yourself mentally for NS.
I'm actually looking forward to NS but it's how you look at it that determines whether you NS days will be fulfilling or not....

MDC is the music and drama thingy? In sec sch, i heard from my NCC friends tt u have to declare that u are gay before they'll let u go there, is it true? I think NCC sucks too...in sec sch, all those NCC ppl very action, always say NS is good, they love to get tough...blah blah blah....then by the time they go to JC/Poly, most of them realise tt NS is not "cool" or "tough" at all, but plain sux, then they change their mindsets too..

i heard from one guy, whether you go in to ocs, or other vocations, is already determined when you do the survey. So that means you dont really have a choice of which vocation u wanna go to?
