Horror Films

IT, by Stephen King. No clown movies can be worst than this. Worst thing to watch as a kid...

And the Paranormal Activity's trailer isn't even scary...

The only English horror movie I felt was worth watching would be Dead Silence. Other than that, nothing is scarier than Asian horror movies.

Yeah, the trailer isn't scary. I want to see what all the hype is about though.
i found Dead Silence rather boring.

Event Horizon. I loved the atmospheres, the plot, etc, even though I didn't find it particularly scary.

I agree. Event Horizon was totally in a different league of its own. It totally plays with your mind and feelings.

I can't quite say what my personal favourite, but I'd like to see a movie version of the game Killing Floor. 6 army personnel sent in to kill about 1000 failed "specimens". Lastly, they meet the Patriarch.

ooOOOoooOOoooOOOooo.

the ending sucked big time. I mean, that scary clown is actually a big alien bug? come on!

I won't deny it, the ending does suck.

Dead Silence is more of a "survival thriller" in my opinion and I wouldn't call it a horror movie, but I found it to be awesome still. Another one would be Room 1408, I think...if that's the correct title. With Samuel L Jackson and John Cusack.

Hey, anyone knows why "Snakes on a plane" is listed as "Horror" instead of "Comedy"? That film is so ridiculous...

Some of the more scarier ones I seen in past years:

The Orphanage
Drag Me to Hell
Rec
Phobia

I think Shutter is probably my favorite cos it wasn't just scary, the storyline was also really great too and of course the twist ending which I was quite shocked by.

frankly 90% of the angmoh horror movies cant compare to asian ones with a few exceptions of course.

The exorcist can make the list. The book itself was unpleasent enough

'IT' really did have a stupid ending in my opinion. But other than the ending, it was a great show and scary enough to make me careful around clowns. Perhaps according to the story, the demon that masqueraded as a clown takes on the form of a bug? After all, Beelzebub does take on the form of a mosquito or something like that. But I still found the ending silly.

Shutter wasn't scary when I watched with my friends, but when I watched some of the scenes alone, whoa! But it was a great show. I find that some Asian films overdo the scare factor, I'd certainly not watch Shutter alone.

And I admit I never dared to watch Exorcist. I watched a few scenes online and got chilled to the bone.
