Horror Films

Yep, I think I have to agree that the original "Exorcist", the one with Linda Blair starring in it, was without a shadow of a doubt, my scariest horror film ever watched.

*shudders uncomfortably in office seat whilst recalling some scenes from the movie* :???:

texas chainsaw's really overated not much great gore scenes but i rmb there's one version where they really potrait ed gein really well :)
errm anw personally i would recommend

Ooh Ed Gein!! He was truly a class act! I read a whole book about him & his shocking crimes. I tell you, he's one in a million. :???:

the scary thing about the Exorcist is the dodgy behind the scenes stories. The whole cast except neve campbell died shortly after the show, the printer printing a sheet of "6"s. and that I've heard some people say that at that time the technology to make a head turn 360 so cleanly on screen was not possible yet.

anyway, my pic of best horror is undoubtedly
[REC].

No competition. the show was awesomely freaky.

machinery im very sure if they had cars with wheels that could rotate, why not a dummy with a rotary head?its just in the different compartments of the mechanics :)
well i dno bout this but i tried googling bout the cast but didnt really get much info on the cast dying besides everyone gotta die someday so why so suprised? being overly paranoid or superstious and linking every mishap with the film doesnt sound just logical and beside the young star at that point linda blair's still alive. Still there isnt an actual acount on the behind the scenes happening its very much hearsay rumours :x

fido damn funny..

anyway, any horror spoof movies or those horror/comedy movies to recommend, and i dont mean scary movie 1-4 kind of stuff.. something like fido and shaun of the dead

haha imma go download the shows :)
anw i find scary movie kinda lame but tho i really enjoyed it when i was younger haha

hmm lets see err ahh why dont u try lesbian vampire killer haha not bad i really find those british film with a dark comedy like horror film really good :)

zombieland is damn good.. its rather different than other zombies movies as this time the survivors already knew how to kill and avoid zombies while following a set of rules to stay alive, and whats better than a zombie flick with zombies in a freaking amusement park!??!?!
its not scary though, just comedy with zombies
if you liked shaun of the dead, you must watch this!!

Omg Horror films, my favourite topic! Or at least one of my favourites. Sadly, majority of people here in Singapore think horror movies seem to only come from Japan or Korea or Thailand. Me, on the other hand, don't get the Asian horror genre, since I was raised watching American horror flicks. Oh my God LOOK AT THE CAMERA ANGLES THEY'RE SO SCARY. OMG THE KID IS FREAKING ME OUT MAN. Sorry, doesn't work for me.

Drag Me to Hell was an awesome horror movie, although released rather recently and most horror films nowadays suck. Sam Raimi mixed horror with some comedy, and I thought it could easily be one of the best films this year.

My favourites(I'm going to miss a lot) I love Zombie films, but to me they're another genre that shouldn't be under horror.

Child's Play(I hate it when people call the show Chucky, reminds me of the 2 horrible movies that were released under that name)
The Shining
Pet Sematary
IT was alright, but it gets lame when you watch it again as an adult
Scream series
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Halloween
Friday the 13th
(I just realised the 3 on top of this have been remade recently)
The Hand the rocks the cradle
Hostel(made me feel sick inside for some reason, damn the Bear Jew and his movies)
Planet Terror(ok it's a zombie flick but it had style)
Creepshow(George Romero/Stephen King)
Hills Have Eyes

Ok that's all for now!
