Guys i have a suggestion so that all of us can improve in our playing

haha thanks man for the comments and also putting up your video, i just hope that more ppl can participate so far there is 4 ...

firdaus ask you when u play what actually went through your mind while you play? For me it seems like you were thinking this, I'm in the key of E minor so I'll use notes of the E minor scale. I need to play fast, so I play some fast licks that I've practiced before. Was that what went through your mind while you are playing? if not what were u thinking?
For me I think what goes through your mind while playing is the thing that determines what kind of music that come out through your amp.

well i think of the e min scale verticaly and horizontally with some presets lick in that key,i also try to end my phrase on the strong beat with chord tones ,currently now im trying to make my playing less predictable and also trying to apply more intervallic ideas which i think is difficult for me......hehe

for me i think of my song needs a structure, so starting the backing track very soft the later it gets louder then back to soft again. So my improvisation also soft loud then soft. Next I want to make my improvisation have a theme just like any other song. So I thought of a nice theme and repeated it with diff improvisations throughout the song. As for how I know what notes I want to play, that one i just think of a melody on the spot, I don't think of them as notes I think of sound then i have to find which fret produce that sound I'm thinking on the fretboard. Thing about this style of improvising u have to think fast act fast so it would be good to know the notes on the fretboard.

Yes Likui.....that's what we call 'feel'. You know your limits and play within your capability which came out to a good product.

Firdaus: Very strong techniques...a good guitarist indeed. But you tend to pour all your techniques and capabilities to a single song. But if your recording was played after a hard days work...and you just wanna whack...that is normal for most guitarists. I can see you know your fretboard well. Try closing your eyes and 'feel' the backtrack and play. Then you hear it back...Ok here's a tip I got from one of the best guitarist I know when I was younger(Mr. Zainal Musa was Anita's sessionist guitarist). He told me,"If you listen back to your playing...and it finishes like it's not enough cause you wanna hear more. That means it's good enough. But if you hear you playing too long....that means you are shredding too much."

Enjoy guys!!
