Guitars of the future...

Seriously speaking, they probably would look pretty much the same as they do today.

Maybe with less wood, and more composite materials. I am more interested in how amps and pedals may though.

can u imagine holding that, and slinging it real low... shits.

I think though there'll be a few novelty designs for the guitar once in a while, the main guitar will remain. Good instruments rarely change over the years. Just look at brass/woodwind/keys. Most have barely changed over so many centuries.

Oh they have changed over the centuries. Do more research on them.

yeah how abt a guitar with AI and full light fretboard where it auto plays and it lights up the frets its playing.
everyone can shred then. =X

guitars of the future.. =(

will the quality keep getting worse?
after all, most guitars of the past sound better than guitars of today dont they?

I forsee fender and gibson eating up all the smaller companies.

and the invention of a plastic body guitar..

Ever considered that there might be no "guitar of the future" after all?

What if the guitar becomes redundant with improvement in music technology?

ie. 3 year old musician channels his feelings into his music pad toy and out of it springs forth a symphony to the tune of "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star". And he sounds so good it puts Mozart to shame.

Rock, jazz, country, metal and all other music that use a guitar could become unappreciated. Just like Chinese opera as a dying art form.

ie. 22nd Century man listens to music from 2007 and says, "My ancestors actually played this primitive stuff? Maybe the theory that we evolved from simple minded apes was right after all."

I sure hope guitars don't end up like Chinese opera. If anything has to remain how it is right now, it's guitars. And amplifiers. And cars.

cars? i think next time we will use teleportation hahaha. altho not really possible coz cannot dissemble atoms and put them back together... theoratically

geetar just one pathetic piece of tool among the many music making equipment,

even if it doesnt progress, its ok, impt is what sorta music can be created with geetar, in future.

can the future music out grow itself with the same tool or just recycling same ole thing with different package and for each new generation who might not have experience the wave prior to this.

can music be made without geetar of the future?

heh, hold on to the geetar we have now, its the vintage of tmr and no, old equipment doesnt mean will sound good. Its how engineer can tweak and the context of usage for the instrument

give a noise making idiot a vintage instrument, the sound be terror
give a composer(not just guitarist only) a cheapo geetar, beautiful music can be created(yes, music, not just stupid geetar tone, tone and tone only)
