I'm sorry for playing you guys so far... I thought you would get that it was a joke from the start, but since you continued questioning i continued talking rubbish ... No offence ah ...
hehe....well the first songs i ever learnt were...
Sabbath bloody sabbath
House of the rising sun...
I used to see my friends play cowboys from hell and enter sandman and goo....aargh will i ever do that someday....these guys are geniuses..or wait is it genii.....hmm...
The first thing i ever learn was Nothing Else Matters.
I remember the first time i was in a tuition and then my sis bf just came in the room and picked up the guitar and started playing nothing else matters.
I was like.... 8O 8O 8O
Really impressed.
So i've made up my mind to learn that as the first song.
Also i realised you can learn alot from the song.
Chords like C, A , D
Barred Chords
Double Barred.
and Harmonics. 8)
So i think its a good start off.
After i learned the song, i began to pick up electric guitar and start to try the solo.
You guys start out with songs and tabs and all the cool stuff. I had a friend who volunteer to give me a head start and guess what he did. He played a few riff and show me then he asked me to mimic him. Damn tiring and hard especially if all 6 strings look the same and sound different.
He taught me some simple chord progression and I learnt the hard way. I still sucks in strumming. Man... gotta learnt and improve...
Just a side thought, I think we all started out GASing for guitars, amps and effects before we even know a thing in guitar...
the very fist thing i learnt was to play the intro to enter sandman. hahaha
now i am gainbing back lost time by slow-ly learning basic chords , finger positioning and strumming.
btw. any method possible to learn chords in 1 month?
