Always had fun at these threads so thought I would have a go....

The following pieces of gear were used(in random order):

Skreddy Screwdriver
Skreddy Pinkmour
BJF Dyna Red
Ceriatone 18W

All clips recorded using the neck pickup of my strat(all stock).....recorded with a Shure SM58 into a Line6 Toneport(ps. I have zero recording experience so I just placed the mic how I saw fit)

The amp was set at 'just above' conversation levels...so its not the ideal tube amp tone...but its the typical bedroom musician level....it was set clean for all pedals and set with a lil bit of gain for the amp clip....

I tried to dial in a kinda smooth blues sound....(since I recently got into blues and would now like to be called a blues guitarist)....solo and backing track ripped off last months guitar techniques

I'll probably do another clip to show the pedals' best usage...

So here you go...its the "Guess the Pedal" song....(in 128Kbps..thank you soundclick FREE)

Guess the order!!

ps. the other 2 songs were recorded a few years back with an Ibanez-> Digitech RP200 ->soundcard(thats right I didnt have an amp!!!) when I just picked up the guitar...so dont laff...

cheers

pretty good clips, my guesses are the same as kenC's but then again, i've never got to play either or those... only heard clips, many.

Hmm clip 1 has the most balanced tone, clip 2 has the midrange hump, clip 3 seems to be clip 2 on steriods ie more edge to the sound and clip 4 is by far the most distinct due to its clarity and transparency.

Since I've never played around with any of the pedals before, I would say Ceriatone and BJF in 1st or 4th and either Skreddy taking the 2nd and 3rd positions.

interesting guesses guys....

hehe edder bro: man Ive really gotten hold of the tone I want....enjoying myself...but again still searching for more

none of these clips represent the sound I use most...which is setting the amp with very low preamp gain....and stacking the screwdriver into the dyna red....

Very good blues rock tone ala bonamassa, trower etc....

On the clips here....Ive used much lower gain than I prefer.....and a clue....

The skreddy screwdriver is set completely different from how I use it...its set to min brightness, max compression, and very fuzzy....ie not towards the treble booster side .....
