Good pickups for rock to recommend?

Looking to change the pickups on my craftsman GS200. I was looking at the tesla pickups and they look really good. Anybody can recommend me good pickups. My current bridge pickup sounds thin when used with gain and the bridge pickup sounds 'okay' but i would prefer a change too.
So any recommendations? Budget would be $200 for installation+pickups. How much would installation of both PU cost btw?

Jumpin'Jellybean: Yup, just offering him another alternative..no harm suggesting! :)

TS: If ur on a budget, may I also recommend the Artec Giovanni pickups? A humbucker I saw was going for $45 at TYMC and now they are having a sale, it'll be easy on ur wallet ;)

the JB should be considered only if there is a preference for a strong midrange response. in the Duncan territory, the Custom SH-5 gives a good low end manifestation & sounds superb with distortion.

TESLA's Plasma II also offers a good take on distortion & good frequency response.

Hahah i see.. No problem, just pointing it out. :p

Anyone knows where to get Tonerider pickups besides Guitar Connection? coz I went over to ask and the price that they are selling it for seems to be rather overpriced.

I'd recommend a Dimarzio Fast Track on the bridge if you want fat, silent(hum cancelling) bridge tones.

The YJM fury faizal is selling is also a good choice if you wish to keep the single coil vibe but desire to have a high gain, humcancelling type sound that Yngwie is famous for.

The single coils are pretty decent and the price is the lowest for pickups I've seen so far. I have em on my strat.. You're welcome to try if you're free.

Wow! nice. How's it with a heavy OD? Is it noisy or it has hum cancelling?

I have the low output set so they obviously aren't the best for the heavy stuff but they don't suck la. I swapped my middle pickup out but if all 3 are stock, position 2 and 4 are hum cancelling.

The noise level is good for non hum cancelling single coils, I don't have a problem with em on high gain unless you're doing something really extreme haha.

Which set are you interested in btw? I'm not sure if theres a noiseless single coil set.. Mine is the vintage set, probably the one with the lowest output in the series.
