i meant that the list price that you saw at the shop in excelsior is before discount (?). after discount will prob be 2x web direct price

it should be after discount. cuz it's SGD2000, twice the direct price is SGD2600.

it does not mean web price x 2 (USD) x 1.63 (conversion rate). i am guessing that's what you thought... hence you got SGD2600?

if it's cheap, can consider getting it and then upgrade the pickups and hardware

but i think subby u mentioned before that today's squiers are much improved compared to the ones from a few years back

absolutely- with graphics or otherwise. the Squier Strat Deluxe is proof enough. the Standard models are also above average.

the thing with graphics laden guitars- adds to cost, zilch to tone.
