and its lol peddle! That alone, is priceless!
this is the second time I'm modding this. its such a moddable guitar and is becoming my favourite.
Changes made
1) Pickguard to tortoiseshell
2) Neck pickup to GFS Lipstick middle pickup
3) Bridge pickup to GFS Mean 90 Bridge
4) Push pull on the volume pot rewired to pair up the neck and bridge pickup into series humbucker. Downside is when activated, there will be no signal when pickup selector switch is at the neck pickup position. Can take it as a kill switch. The should be a way to do overcome this but I really do have better things to do than to kill some brain cells... like drinking beer. :twisted:

ok ok... its sounds like a guitar a blues player into a tooob amp would appreciate. the GFS Mean 90 is powderful. The lipsticks are pretty good too but the output of the lipsticks vs the mean 90 is quite big. But then again, lipsticks are low output to start with.
I like the sound too when the lipstick and mean90 are combined in series as a humbucker. Thick and usable.

For this ibanez ive changed pickups twice and tried to sell it for months... thank GOD no one bought it. becuase i changed pickups for the LAST time and it just OPENED up into its full glory.

I would highly recomend anyone to try Harmonic Design Z90 pickups... these really have the big open sound of P90s/singlecoils , yet seem to have the power of Humbuckers... its a very nice middle-playground of sorts...
