so just to correct my spelling, its spelled Mamywo, based on Tyler's site.
lol, not that it matters since its a word he made up.
i remember Gim Guitars in Malaysia making some mention of the actual local name.
I cant recall whether it was Meranti or Nyatoh or something else. O well, Mamywo sure sounds more up-market than either of them.

That fraud claims to know Tyler and when the local dealer here(then? now?) who actually had dinner with Tyler, asked Tyler about him... nada, never heard of him. oh well, you'll never know how much lies and bull that fraud can spew from his mouth. A disgrace really, I really regretted giving him the support in the past.
oh and he claims that Mamywoo is Jelutong and also claims that Yamaha Taiwan uses RUBBER wood and calls it Alder. SIGHS....

Hey Mark - thanks man! Nice to see you still around - hope you're doing well. 
For the geeks amongst you (i.e. all of you reading about this) here's my spec list:
• Studio Elite HD
• SSH (2 x JTV Single Coils, 1 x Trembucker) slanted
• white pup covers
• Hollow Mamywo body <edit> opted for solid body after feedback that this might make the guitar too 'toppy' in conjunction with the FR trem.
• Bird’s eye maple neck and fingerboard
• Thin neck (.825” - .950”) with 59 backshape
• Pearl 3 ply pickguard
• Jumbo frets
• Chrome hardware
• Plain headstock
• Midboost preset button
• Recessed Floyd rose tremolo (chrome)
• Candy cherry red shmear
• Case
BTW - I'm hopelessly impatient at recording, so clips will take some time. Also, I never know what to record so people can hear a comparison and be able to hear the guitar and not just a bunch of effects of amp sims. Any suggestions welcome (i.e. clean, dirty, fingerpicked, thrash...)

I've finally managed to get round to taking pics of my elusive 7 string baritone. Seen here alongside my EBMMJP6... I've forgotten how old this was until I looked at the binding. It's turned yellow liaoz... whahahaha...:mrgreen:

actually as long the board is small enough, it can be squeezed in, but just troublesome to make sure everything fits in nicely.
