We need a custom guitar gallery! but then that would be filled with sticker laden guitars... hmmm...
Anyway, yes, I don't know how to appreciate production strat pictures. If its a good playing/sounding one... then yes. Heck, I'll play Edo83's USACG strat because it feels/sounds so damn good! (I'm saying this coz Shredcow playing a strat is sacriligeous! :wink: )
Speaking of this, have any of you seen Edgie's Edwards Jimmy Page relic Les Paul? As much as I dislike "signature" series guitars and LPs, this guitar really does sound & feel good. Quite the stunner when I played it... its also quite light, lighter than my USACG.

+10000 points for decent pictures that do justice to two very sweet stratocasters.

On another hand, why is people talking about my USACG? I didn't mention it neither did I sound like I wanted/needed comments on my guitar. Does KennethC's comment below make it seem like I'm gunning for people to take a 2nd look at my USACG? Thanks for the compliment but this light-hearted (i hope) situation might just get aggravated by that (and KenC's) complimentary comments.
I'll check it out maybe tonight when I return his Screwdriver to him. He mentioned it to me too. He's into the whole G2D drive pedals thing too - nice vintage vibes on those pedals.
Not going to setup a "custom guitar gallery" - it was a joke. There's not big enough a community for such a thing.
And dude... sigh... I've had that same comment given to me when I was in a guitar shop. Some old man, a collecter, told me that PRS was the way to go when "you grow up, you'll see". I've not liked a strat for the past 9 years of my playing guitar. Maybe it will change. Again, not like I cant' play on a strat but well, they're just not appealing. Would a Suhr strat count as a real man's strat?

and leecs bro, I never wanted to talk abt his USACG, but let's be clear that he did allude to custom vs production strats. I never took a dig at his pics when he posted them and was happy and proud abt his guitar, did I? Do a search, and you'll find that I gave him a pat on the back, in fact. That's the way it should be on forums no? =)
