gargamelesp: That's the "Guitar of the Week" silverburst man! It's like shouting Mastodon. Dammit! If you're thinking of selling it (if ever of course because this baby is really worth keeping... the vintage ones are selling at crazy prices), my pockets are confirm open. :lol: :lol:

everydying is right, that is not the guitar of the week, but from the custom shop. i was originally eyeing the GOTW classic custom but after i made the 400 mile round trip to the dealer, the one he had in stock had a slight blem on it, so i wasnt really keen. he had 3 customs hanging on the wall, and after thinking really really hard, shes home!
kank: heh... i dont think i will be selling her for a long long long time.. but if u like, i could hook you up with the dealer i got it from.. he has fantastic customer service. he just might have one more piece in stock

gargamelesp, Nice collection you have. What are the gadgets in your rack? Is it Marshall-JMP1? Do you directly connect JMP1 to the cab? Care to tell more about your setup and tones? By the way, silver burst is really cool.

ah... to be honest, i wish tool and the darkness were not associated with the silverburst colour, it makes me seem as though im a big fan of theirs
dosent help that this colour is really unique too so it makes it easier for people to remember. however, that did not stop me from getting one!
stuff in my rack are as follows
marshall jmp1 runs to the isp decimator prorackG which i feel is the best noise gate out there, which runs to the g major, which is a multi effect device, and finally to the vht 2/50/2 poweramp, then it goes to my cab
the gibson sounds HUGE compared to the rest of my guitars. i dare say it sounds even heavier than my kh2 which is EMG equipped.

Oh Rely !!
Adam Jones has 5 vintage and totally rips live ....and he used them when nobody liked it, so much so Gibson stopped pruducing em !!
And Darkness can make you wet your pants if you see them live !!
You dont have to be a fan ....just enjoy the silverburst ... :wink:
