Go to shops that sell those plastic protective sheets for PDAs/Handphones.

Slap one on.

Or you can go buy a similiar product, but marketed for acoustic guitars.


The guitar really does look nice but I do feel kind of sad that you mentioned how... concerned you were abt the looks. If anything, that is just going to prevent you from truely enjoying a musical instrument.

Well, i personally feel its a waste of $$$ not to play that guitar. When i 1st got my EBMM JP, i cant bear to play it. Even when i play it, I'll carefully play. Now after 3 year, theres a chip off, small paint crack, pick scratches & i don give a damn!!!!!!!

Oh man, hope you get that cast off soon.

But there's definitely no doubt about playing with caution especially with a brand new guitar. After awhile it'll grow on you and you'll be comfortable with it anyway you play it or how it looks.

ooh there's such product for acoustic? do they have it in Singapore?

i thought of the pda/hp thinggie before, but they all come in very small size, might need to get quite a few piece if i want to cover a larger area.

im actually thinking of getting those ohp transparency and paste it with double side tape. but dont know if the double side tape will do damage to the guitar.

yup i will overcome the cosmetic barrier after i have put up the necessary precaution. if not it will really be a waste, i did not spend so much to not enjoy it

Be sure to clean the bridge & knobs after playing. they will rust aftera while if you have sweaty palms.

yup yup..i will have to clean it more often after playing. i have quite a serious sweaty palm problem and very acidic sweat :roll:
