Bought it from some seller on soft! For about 120 or 140 dollars, can't really remember. Its very hard to tweak it though!

YEC Custom. Its super light compared to my Standard, it feels like playing a strat again. But some neck bindings are questionable whether they rushed the job. But heck, I'm still in my honeymoon period.

Just be warned for MIC lovers, its a MIC product just with a hand-crafted in china sticker. I knew it was an EE serial when I enquired abt it but wasn't deterred by it in anyway

I'm now gassing for an LP. Epiphone though...no way I can afford a Gibson. Trying to decide between an LP Standard Plus and an Ultra. How much did it cost you altogether?

i'd go for the std. the ultra looks weird and has quite alot of wood cut off it, is it even a full mahogany body?

Believe it or not the total was cheaper than if I were to get an epi custom from swee lee. Inclusive of gst was $740 but only because the guitar itself was on sale.

I took out a weighing machine and the difference was a whole kg lighter than my std, 3kg vs 4kg. Thats definitely a plus for lespaul lovers.

if one truly appreciates a guitar's playability & tone, the Chinese origin would not deter one's acquisition. keep in mind that even american Gibson units display abominable craftsmanship on bad production days but let's not tread the 'this country makes better guitars' path.

the Ultra is still top on my Epi LP appreciation list. the guitar's physical/ compositional manifestation was intended by the manufacturer.

Your welcome sir sub. Definitely I'm not having much problem acquiring an Eastern origin guitar else I'll be down to none. Both my LPs are of EE serials.

I haven't been able to try the Ultra and I think the body contour feature will definitely be a hit for the opposite sex playing an LP since my female companion always complains abt the LP being not female-friendly when she's using it.

the rear body bevel of the Ultra wasn't intended to appease any gender in particular. fender/ ibanez/ etc accomodate these in many of their models as standard feature.

hey lifele55, how is it possible that you have your epi in that colour when, as far as i know, epiphone doesn't even make their lp customs in antique ivory?

just asking. its a damn sweet guitar btw
