My new toy and probably the only or 1 of 2 pedals to be owned by me this year.

Woooo..another old gt-2 owner... Just checking on your gt-2..

Removal of whole base plater for battery fitting??

3pdt true bypass stomp switch???

DC Power supply requires 3.5mm(1/8") plug converter??

LED on top(TICK)

There are several versions to these gt2's as far as i have found out. So far I've seen and tried 2 versions of the OLD one. (LED ON TOP)

One with specifications I've mentioned above..Another with completely same specifications as the NEW version but only with the LED on top.

And all of them sounds different. The 2 OLD versions and the current NEW ones.

well
i took some graphics editted it
and printed it out
paste them on the pedal

then finish it in clear coat

i used to have the original sansamp (not the current classic) as well as the GT2 which requires removing the whole backplate to insert the battery.
they of cos sounded good, but both didnt have enough gain to satisfy me :P

Iccc...Hmm..weird..

The old gt-2(remove whole baseplate) has good amount of gain and really is more saturated compared to the new one. The newer one has really very little sustain and lesser gain/saturation.

Hydesg,

Those are stickers on your BYOC yeah? How do you print them? I'm guessing I'd need a particular printer and some sticker paper?

Nice job man.

I noticed that some "old" (not sure if it's old) GT2s have a black jack for the adaptor whereas mine has a silver one with a nut outside.

Yerps..The silver adapter jack requires the 1/8"(3.5mm) converter for adapter power supply. U'll need to buy that first before u can power the pedal up with an adapter. Thats the 1st Old Version.(I guess)

Yerps thor..It's tighter. I feel both of the old and new versions have their pros and cons. I own both versions. Like them both.

yes, ibanez is my firm favourite, started out with one, bought other brands but keep renewing my faith with them 8) it's Ibanez 11 vs others 10 at the moment... looking at what Ibanez has to offer this 2007, i might be adding 3 more to the family provided they make it here (in view of the absence of some 2006 models).

i'm a big fan of maple fretboard, especially on Fenders (all my fender guitars sport maple fretboard).
