heres my first ever gibson lespaul. Must say that its not quantum leaps better then the Tokai from 2006 in terms of build quality and finishing.
Tokai "bigboss" LS-160

This is Liang , My beloved Drummer , his belly is showing.

Infact i think tokai may have shown just that little bit more care in the "tiny details" and is technically historically more accurate. But the flame top on the gibby and the honey finish just creamed me la... sucker for these kinda stuff

But tonally the burstbuckers really outshine and out-rock the Tokai's lame/weak PAFs -- showing how important pickups really are in the equation for "that sound in your head"

Vernplum, I noticed that you have a silver screwed version of the DM-2. is the serial number stamped or is it a sticker? I heard that they dont exist but I'm really very curious to know whether that is fact or fiction :lol:

R69 - yes my DM-2 is a MIJ silver screw one. I don't see any discernible serial number on the outside though there is a stamped number on the circuit board which might be it.

How did I acquire it? It's a long story which nobody ever believes when I tell them, but I am led to believe that it once belonged to Gary Moore. It's been in my possession for about 15 years.
