fret problem

Hi guys i nid help regarding guitar frets. I accidetally fille my 19fret
till too low and its causing some problems now. is thr anw to solve it besides refretting the whole guitar?

request for fret levelling if your situation is still salvageable.

You would have to file all your other frets to that level then, or see whether you can just replace that fret with the same fret wire as the rest

Do i need to file from 19 fret onwards or all the frets? And how much would it be if i take it to a luthier?

How low is too low? If it isn't too low, as in TOO low, you won't need to level the the whole fretboard.

@osiris, He can change a fret only but changing 1 fret also means level all the frets anyway.

TS: wow. u put yourself in a tough situation....

U might have to level all the other frets to level with the odd one out. But that depends how low u mistakenly filed it to. if its "too low" then it may not be advisable.

I would suggest going to a luthier. You can try one of those at Penisular Plaza if you're in Singapore with your guitar. It is better to let a pro to look at it in person and advise you accordingly. The folks there don't charge for consultancy (not that I know of). Generally speaking, they are willing to help you out.
