Lol. James, I think even with discount they might still earn a bit of profit.

For us... most of us are already selling at a lost. Still want to lowball? Haizzz... :p

Channie, there are people who buy/sell things on SOFT for profit. But when I approach them to advertise, they say they are not a business.

I run a media production company doing website, video and multimedia stuff. All clients will lowball me. When I tender for government job, ALL competitors will lowball me. What to do? Move on and work harder.

THOA, those shops do it for a living. Meaning they will not be able to bring food back to their family if they do not make any money.

hmm, if they asked whether you can offer a discount I still tihnk can la. I'll just quote them my final price and see whether they want it. But wah. From $650 to $200... this guy is asking for it man

just over 30 secs ago i revieved an sms saying
"200 for your flying V"

First time this kinda crap has happened to me. didnt think how rude it could be till now.

RESPECT the seller's price. dont give me some shitty smiley emoticon. you really pissed me off with this shyt.

sms came from 9635---- user id "****"

Extreme case of bargaining...

hahaha guess its like this when youre selling your stuffs online, its always a mentality to bring down the price a tad bit more no matter how low it alr is.

was selling my bass amp a couple of weeks before, $80 or so if i rmb correctly, and it was alr slightly lower what other softies are selling, and here comes a PM from **** with four words:

" 30 bucks instant deal "

not even worth a reply to tell him its sold.

Whats going on?

Haha, after much thinking , i realized its really no point bitching about low-ballers here. Haha. It wouldn't make any difference. :D

I mean, you guys NEVER low-balled before? :o

Don't lie..

The culprit has spoken! :o
(Actually, it would be a smarter idea NOT to have said anything about it?)

Still dude, you immediately quoted a price and it seemed very low.
What you should have done is asked whether the seller could have offered a discount. If yes, what is his final price. If no, then suck it up and either accept his offer if not don't buy.
However, you just demanded the guitar for 200 (plus acoustic guitar, if you insist) and that was the end of the sotry as far as you are concerned. You did not really consider the asking price from the seller. Sure, he's selling it at 650. Perhaps you can knock off $50 from it if you asked nicely and he's willing. But a $450 discount? This ain't some really big market goods leh...
