Epiphone semi/hollows or similar

heh, imho, if to attract potential buyers and geetar in relative moderate to good condition, round 450 to 550

if to test the market for anyone really wanting to get a mik one, perhaps round 600.

heh, sometime tough to name price, must see whether from seller pov or buyer pov.

sound art? anybody frm pink arc here?
koreans are ok, elitist better haha.. def no stock for me
unless collectable older epis from those us of a, kalamazoo eras
just done with my 2nd pup swaps, still cant get those chimey tone yet.. paf?

yup, soundart prolly a nice way to call it, can be worst... hehe

anyway, its about concept, ideas, reasoning thoughts that accompanied sound, any forms, thru various devices and at times, with lighting, visuals etc, to connect modern people lost in the struggle of everyday life in this urban jungle.

hehe, dont take it too seriously ya... those form of music, just like rock and roll, but different format and rebellion..

remember the http://soft.com.sg/forum/guitar-rookie-corner/132692-advice-how-diy-kind-pedal-set-up.html?
i think im going to have to start from scratch, from raw basic materials to the electronics..
will that be enough? or do i have to get more guitars, gadgets, computers, tv, speakers, cabs, etc.?

:(

geetar and gear prolly a minor part of it..

hehe, a naked person standing in cold wind with sound of wind messing up the hair and capturing the moment in audio, visual, reprocessed it, adding more things, take away something, distort it, manipulate it into form of anything also can be.

u are good, is that your imagination or for real?
the last time i did someting like that everybody left the room.. hehe

oh well, if iam an artist who sort made a name for myself, have enough credits to pull off such a thing and able to make it seem arty and not wanky, perhaps it can be true.

but sadly, nope, iam just a singa heartland uncle with too much time on hand and mind thats more wanky than arty due to the lack of success in the real world with good career and real money..

Heh, anyway, dont be too serious ah, while i love certain aspect of those wanky stuff, iam not too serious about it as well...its only fun when able to create and be part of the process.

Can be boring when watching art in sound or sound in art. I think theres prolly more fun sitting at kopitiam watching ah peks drinking carlsberg or tiger and teasting the beer aunties/ladies.

agreed, to create & be part of the process is fun
i read some in the forum, quite a number of sound artist
the scene now in 2009/2010 is much better than anticipated,

i still remember(altho patheinraindrop name is very long) ..hehe
when i just started out here in soft asking for help on pup wirings
most ppl ask me to google, but u different u actually post up a diagram

for that my hats off to you, appreciate it very much! a singa heart
dont be surprised i may be one of those ppl u describe at kopi tiams.. lol

the "fridge" in the back ground is indeed awesome and most prolly fun to play with!

To get the kinda of "running around delay sound", actually any delay in the market, be it cheap or rack mount one, also can do it. Its a rather basic use of delay to get those in fact.

But what the edge has in that tone, is a slight shimmering effect in the background within the delay tone that make it stand out. And incidentally, one of the reverb setting in line 6 verbzilla, can do that shimmering sound.

So technically, if anyone wanna do those shimmering delay thingy, a budget of below $300sgd(cheap delay and line 6 verbzilla), will be enough to cover it. Heh, the only thing that doesnt cut it is that we cant write any tune with it, without shaking the image of edge and his delay off, no matter how good the music we can come up with.

And interestingly, one of the earliest person heard playing with those kinda dotted 8 delay sound, was back in the early to mid 70s, predating pink floyd run like hell. Anyway, fella's name was Manuel Göttsching and he himself, is prolly a legend, his band and for his solo stuff which went on to be the earliest blueprint for house music.
