Just got to take note on the rates. Paypal has a different rate as compared, and if I am not wrong, they do have extra charge. I bought a orange box for 9.49 euro, and it suppose to be 19.88 SGD, but i checked my balance after the transition, it was 23 SGD. I think Paypal have some extra charges.

try selling stuff and having funds transfered to your paypal.
a whole new story emerges.
ebay listing fees, paypal cuts when you transfer funds into your bank account.
expensive either way.
but its still convenient for those who might not have access to credit cards when you wanna buy online.

Anyway if they use the exact exchange rate, they don't earn. Just like banks. The selling rate is always higher than the buying rate.

yes ebay's cheating you. please do not buy anything off ebay. they're the ultimate scammers. they charge you more than what you actually have to pay and term the charge miscellaneous fees. they then use the extra cash they accumulate from the other millions of people who buy off ebay to fund an unnamed terrorist organisation.
