Since you're the sole proprietor, you CAN become bankrupt.
The liabilties of the so called "company" is soley yours.
so you gotta be prepared.

First things first when it comes to debtors.
Whether to tell them to truth, or to delay the truth while you seek legal help from authorities.

1.) Tell debtors the truth that you got cheated.

- They will sue your ass immediately cause,
moneys at stake, biz is biz, they're not running a charity here.

or

- They will understand ? Or show pity ? (Quite unlikely)
and wait for a resolution, if they is going to be one, after a police
report or something.


2.) Stall them, but (not lie to them) for a month or two.
Cause if you lie, they'll come at you twice as hard once they find out.

- Get as much help as you can, witnesses, or any references you can find. simply any shred of info of this mr korea. Don't really know where to point you to though, the police maybe?


By the way, what did on earth did he promised you to get you so fired up about this thing? So much so that you'll put your own name to this biz. Cos your testimony sounds too overly simple to be believable, even though I do sympathize with your plight.

Cos, people wont work 11 to 11 for $300 a month, or let alone $50 a month.

I think, if you can prove his involvement in this fraud case, with a police report, you can submit it to ICA, and he'll be barred from entry into Singapore for the future, and if there's criminal reason to charge him, then he'll be arrested if he comes in.

He mentioned the company is named "East side guitars Pte Ltd"
It is a pte ltd company, and he is a share holder. Not a sole proprietor.

Seriously, whether he is a sole proprietor or just a shareholder makes a world of difference.
Especially in Irfan's case now.

Btw, you can sue him for embezzlement of company funds without your knowledge.

in any event, quick search on Biznet shows it's a Pte Ltd.

I gave up my ease of life for independence in the name of music. For your info, with a serious shoulder problem, color deficiency, a 7 year long independence and a strong passion for music... there'd not much you can do in life, be it academically, career-wise or Financially. There was once these words called Trust and Faith. No more.....

yeah i recall my enlistment day had to carry duffel bag all the way UP to my bunk in level 4. no wheels version.

now their duffel bags look like luggage bags just drag/wheel around.. our time is ali baba sausage bag

oh and not to forget ord day also carry duffel bag, this time to home. yet this time happy to carry and duno it's due to the high spirits or better strength, it's a more effortless process despite the longer distance :D
