At least to us Muslim, as for the rest who's not Muslim , I dont care in what ever music they want to listen to it's their own choice.
Bro, I think that statement teethers on sensitive issues. I am a Muslim, but I also have free will to choices as much as my non-Muslim brothers as well.
Non-Muslims may have faith that differs from Muslims but there are some major non-Muslim faiths who do believe in God and the Devil. The concept of "Devil worshipping" goes against these faith. So shouldn't your statements and warnings apply very much to practitioners of those faith as well? Saying that you don't care what non-Muslim's listen shows a bit too much apathy perhaps?
I understand your good intentions to bring up your examples as a reminder to our fellow faith practitioners. But the context of 'harm' that can come from listening to such music applies to all, Muslims or not.
I would also advice against listening to CERTAIN styles of hiphop, which preaches alcohol, drugs, violence and womanising (I MUST emphasize 'certain'). Or certain Pop songs even. Maroon 5 lyrics are mostly adult oriented, so does moralistic values come in when they are brought up? Isn't such topics the "playden of the devil"?
I do agree the examples you give... these cases are of extreme examples of impulsive, ignorant acts which are SOCIALLY unacceptable, nevermind it being religiously acceptable. But religion and faith is subjective. Bringing up the subject of the devil is a very subjective issue that I personally rather not talk about here. There are places to share such things with certain context to observe, with people who would welcome it.
I hope you are not offended. I am giving my thoughts.
