imma complete noob at pedals... this gonna be my 1st pedal if i do buy it... so im completely clueless about voltage, adaptor all that kinda stuff... is it gonna be in any way troublesome? or would it be just plug in and play those kind? :?

just plug in the guitar > pedal > amp, make sure the pedal is powered by a battery or an adaptor. when you have a pedalboard then having many different adaptors are in pain, but using 1spot compatible pedals would really be a problem.

but do note that unlike the DD-3, the Echoparks sound wave works like its on a X-Y graph. i.e. the increasing the mod/mix decreases the vol of your original tone, though subtly.

DD-3 keeps the vol of your original tone a constant despite increasing the E.Level. i have both but have decided to offload the Echopark to a friend cuz of the reason mentioned above.

Onespot compatible in a sense that the pedal is compatible with the Onespot adaptor lor... haha. but just to let you know it isnt an issue if you buy a brand new Echopark from the store cuz it comes with a free adaptor. besides, you said this is going to be your first pedal, as of now its not a problem... yet. 8)

i just tried the artec recently and yeah its good, especially for the price. BUT its not so great as wat ppl have been saying recently. I bealive its just hype and most ppl are just following this hype. dont get me wrong, its not a bad pedal at all..

^ how well does the artec do with slapback echoes? or mimicing records from hendrix or led zep with the hall like reverb/echoes? or maybe the thing eric johnson always does with his maestro echoplex just leaving it turned on

actually, imho, for slapback, any pedals in the market can do it. Its just having a short delay time. Most delay pedals, if not all, can do it. For the hall like/reverb thingy, the ibanez de-7 can sorta do it.

As for ej, he is in a league of his own, we are just mortals :lol:
