hey guys!~ seen threads with delay and wah...very educational!~ Now lets do one for chorus!!~ One of the most overlooked pedal on a efx board!~ Feel free to give reviews about the chorus you're using..be it analog or digital chorus!~ 8)

(oh yeah i'm in the market for one...obviously..haah..)

I use a Boss CE-2. Pretty mild/light chorus, you can still hear you guitar's character... I prefer that to overly heavy chorus effects.

I just use it for the thickening/dreamy effect, nothing else. I can't stand distortion into chorus (or vice versa) though... hahaha...

i'm pretty much with shredcow on the chorus application, adding it to thicken tone, will get upset if it's too thick. IMO it'll undermine the drive & clarity. on the contrary, thick chorus goes well with clean settings.

Danelectro's Cool Cat is still the most desireable for me.

EH small clone gets my vote for simplicity, tone and price. Do a nice leslie simulation too..

Otherwise, for more bell and whistle plus a smooth sounding chorus like the 80s (sounds good on bass too), i love the tc electronic scf

recently redwitch came out with the empress chorus, i have just gotten it, so far the impression is that, the chorus not really having the lushness of the above 2 chorus, but it breath more of the guitar sound, got spark, but less lush. Want more lush, the hiss will come... The additional of a vibrato function is what i like more.

would you guys recommend the Visual Sound H20 for the delay and chorus? i've heard the H20 in action and it really sounds dreamy

From what you mentioned, the Empress sounds suitable for my needs as I prefer more sparkle without being overly lush.

I don't own the H20 so I can't say much for it except that the usual complaint is with regards to it's durability/reliability.

I own the Danelectro Cool-Cat Chorus.
Cheap and can get really lush. I use it at a minimal level.
Bang for buck.

Hmm.

hey sub, is this pedal selling at Music Plaza? I recently got the Daddy O overdrive pedal (from Music plaza) but this one didn't seem to be on display... where else got it ar? I GAS for chorus pedals liao

Artec available @ GC.

I tried the Analog Delay, and for $180, i thought... okay, why not? Its pretty cheap! Standard shortish analogish delay from that unit... supposed to be true bypass too.
