Wow, some freak out and interesting reharmonizations here.

Here's my rendition which seems to bring smiles to my little boy. I don't have perfect pitch but I do hear melodies, harmonies and progressions in my head and then it's all about finding the right positions on the fretboard to find the right positions that have the best voicings. Unlike guitar I do think that keyboards are more logically layed out. Hope this wins some approval among you guys.

Full diminish = 1, 3b, 5b, 7bb

Half diminish = 1, 3b, 5b, 7b

b = flat

Actually, a diminished is just 1,3b, 5b (minor chord then flat the 5th). A half diminished evolved from a minor 7th (1,3b, 5, 7b) with the 5th flattened (5b) to become a diminished - that's where the name came from.

James, the first chord you said is like a dimished 7th but we usually say 6 instead of 7bb.

The numeric formulas for diminished chords is as follows

A diminished chord is 1, b3, b5
A half diminished chord is 1, b3, b5, b7
A diminished 7th chord is 1, b3, b5, bb7

Can someone suggest ways around the chord symbol issue?
