at an estimated rate of 1.57 (SGD is strong now, buy more pedals online, guys!!), i paid 273 SGD

i was considering getting the Liquid Sunshine at the same time, BUT i balked at the thought of spending 790 SGD on pedals at one go! anyway, i thought i'd try out the dual drive controls on the Blackstar first before deciding if i like it enough to invest in a liquid sunshine for milder OD (or i might get the Skreddy Screwdriver instead... no prizes for guessing where i got that inspiration from)

i wasnt so impressed by the Stupid Box actually, like shredcow said, quite generic

Though I want a Mosferatu, Zendrive, a echoczar, octron, this and that as well as a Vox AC15CC. Ah. Analogman Chorus too...

wah haha here's my take for boutique.

i started out a curious little noobish boy who looked at a zoom gfx 4 and said, shit this looks cool! then after awhile, i got quite sian of tweaking it here and there, and i realised i only used certain sounds, the wah sounds were'nt really satisfactory, and the gain sounds were, well.. dots.. haha.

then along came my first pedal, an analogman ts9, and only till late have i realized its infinite potential, and its gonna be sticking around till i DIE. then slowly, a ce5 and a dd3 came along, and a crybaby wah last year from my school mates, omg i love them. ahhaa, then came the DS ONE. lol, i had it modded by edwin, thank GOD i did so, cos the stock tone was just to raw and unnerving for me, and now its sticking around as a booster for my ts9, and then came the sweelee half price sale, seebei shiok. i got a 90W fender amp for 600, a phase 100 for 150, wootness man. all courtesy of my dad for my x-mas b'day combi gift, heh heh, and tml im gonna get the echo park. sweet.

anyway i just tried out the Super Chilli Picoso. For a volume boost i still prefer the RC booster but as a line driver and always on kinda thing the super chilli wins, adds a sheen of presence to you tone not fatter like the RC in the same usage but a bit more presence and top end.

Very nice pedal. not to mention the very wacky red chilli on the pedal.
