my favourite is still the legendary "cat in a bag".

Going for the 30th november recital hall gig?

anyone knows how i can mod my MT-2?
i was thinking of DIM(do-it-myself)...so if theres any instructions i can follow, please share.Thanks.

if there aren't, where can i get it to be mooded?

edder...that one classic case - truly proof that the drugs don't work, they just make you worse.

yesh, i shall be at the esplanade recital hall on the 30th, fer shure!

If tweak and tuned with a correct mod that klassic can sing i tell you ...

Its a basic opamp dirt into a parametric eq giving you a mixed bag of pain and pleasure ...learn to pick.

From your questions, i think bringing it to one of our local modders would be a better idea.

You can try Randolf or Beez

I think YSR is right in stating what he said because he also gives the REASONS why he thinks the MT2 is a poor pedal.

Oh yes, and it also happens to be the quote of the year..
Presenting to you, the most sensible statement on why the MT2 is a poor pedal:

"Thin and weak sounding, its for nu-metal noobs."

Let me try to beat this by giving my own reason why you shouldn't get an MT2:

"You can't cook Mojo Mee with the MT2! Its definately not for elite Neo Classical Mojo Jojos!"

yay! the new quote of the year...

Those who live by the mouth get shot by those who don't ;)

I am kinda lol'd by fellas who like gets a new pedal and swear by their butt cheeks "the best thing since whatever" then you meet em at the buy and sell section goin "i love this pedal but i am moving on....."
I feel for their friend/spouse and hope it ain't the same ... :(

Btw there is a long list of songs truely adored by many especially 'metal' types that have the MT2 stained all over ....

aww guys... gettin all worked up over my post. Chill man, go play guitar. maybe even on a mt2, who knows. Trying to prove ur point on a forum jeez...

gettin all worked up over my post.

Sorry, got too excited! Afterall, it contained the quote of the year. Lots of wisdom indeed! Who can resist the hype?

Of course i had to attempt to beat yours by making a more kickass quote... But no no avail!

Less gain is usually the solution.

What are your amp settings, metalzone settings and what is your guitar like?

for a start,

1) Reduce gain level to minimum

3) Gradually increase the gain on the pedal while playing, adjust the volume on amp and gain level on pedal, till the level you are comfortable playing with and no feedback.

unconotrollable feedback usually from too much gain combined with loud volume. Balance this 2 first and see whether is it ok.

well.. my guitar is the B.C. rich KKV and my amp is the MARSHALL MG15
how to prevent the feedback without reducing the gain?
thanks

hard to, without reducing the gain

its like a loud noise that hurt your hearing, although you like it that that, but inorder to prevent long term damage to hearing, only solution is to reduce volume. Althouugh ear plug will help, but thats just slowing down the process of damage, not reducing it
