well, AVA is a band not for any blink lovers. i think tom wanted a more mature audience. My dad heard some AVA songs recently and he like it. So of course people who love blink cannot love AVA. unless you're gay...

AVA is kinda nice. its a new direction. i like bands that take a new direction and bring something new.

i cant compare ava and +44...two different things

Woot I'll always love blink!
I got started on guitar because of them! The first song I played was What Went Wrong, on my older-than-me mini classical guitar. I remember when I just got the intro right I was like "WOOHOO!"

My first ever gig was blink songs! My first jamming session and live gig was all on the same day This was when I was still playing for fun. Good thing I knew all the blink songs. My bandmates were like "wah, u know all the songs!" and I was like "yeah I have been playing them for the past 2 years" haha..

Anyway, now my genre preferences have somehow widened. I've been playing many many different stuff. But every now and then, I would listen to blink songs again! Like how a guy would always love his mom no matter how old he is (or at least should). haha.

They will always be my favourite band, especially in their latest self-titled album. I think thats their most "oomph" album. You can see how they use all sorts of methods to record their music- something I don't really see now in AVA and +44, sadly.

Even though some songs from AVA or +44 are nice, there's no denying that they can't compare to the original trio. So sadd.. I wish I was in Tom's shoes in blink No, really.
