whast it about Ibanez-es that everyone likes ????

i tink its mainly bang for buck. fenders cost a bomb. gibsons cost 2 bombs. so do prses. ephiphones are generally below par guitar, a victim of gibsons attempt to reach the lower budget market.

bt ibanez'es on the other hand, are band for buck. u can get a very decent ibanez(in terms of look, tone, feel etc) for a very reasonable price. and i tink its versitility is also a key factor of its popularity.

yeah so to me thats abt it. im ibanez all the way. only guitar other than ibanez'es ill look at are prses. bt i wont be able to afford one for quite some time to come so will juz haf to settle for ibanez.

ibanez RGs r nice..but they're 24 frets right?affects the tone of the neck pickup?a luthier told me the 24th fret 'is over the 22nd harmonic'...

n 24 frets guitars cant play blues?

Yeah, that 24 frets will affect the tone of the neck pup. The 24th fret is over the harmonic at the 24th fret. :) So on a 22 fretter, the neck pup will be over that 24th fret harmonic. Different tone. Sort of looser, more hollowish sounding.... sweeter to some/many... I like it.

You can play the blues with any guitar. :) Its just if you want that "Standard" blues tone or not.
