Hey hey all!
Just wondering if anyone knows where to get stuff by Beavis Audio? If I'm not wrong, I noticed someone selling their noise-makers, probably PatheinRaindropMoe..

I'm more interested on his experiments on fuzzes, more prominently his takes on the RAT..

This is his FKR, a boutique RAT clone which he modified (anyone with this pedal please PM me!!!)

And this is a cool project consisting of 3 BYOC RATs, probably the older version of the mighty mouse

For those interested, his webbie is as follows:

The only other time I've seen someone mention "beavis audio" was when Shredcow posted about the "DS-1 teh tonezzzz" thread.. http://www.beavisaudio.com/flash/DS1.html

Heh. Just email him.

Beavis (if that's his real name and not Beavis from "Beavis & Butthead") is really more of a major hobbyist / tweaker who makes great stuff that's on a pro level.

Heh. Just email him.

Well, apparently he is on vacation right now with his family..

Thor666, I'm more interested on his Mark I, or the Mark II FKR he is building at the moment.. Seems like a killer RAT!:mrgreen:

I think his FKR is probably going to be stunning... it's a bit overkill options imo but from my experience with the NC, seems Beavis has good ideas that translate well.

I also suspect it's going to be expensive...

beavis audio one cool dude. Theres lotsa info on his site which are really really great for anyone wanting to get into diy effect and stuff.

oh and the zvex fuzz factory schematic somewhere on the site as well...beware

What good RAT pedals are there to recommend? Those I've discovered online:
Hartman LM308 Distortion
BYOC Mighty Mouse
Keeley modded RAT
Beavis Audio FKR
Freakshow Brown Rabbit
Landgraff MO'D

Was looking at the Hartman first, but the clip was horrible, then found the FKR, which sounds brilliant but is too hard to find.. Then found out about the Mighty Mouse (the FKR derived from this), and now the Keeley which I am darn interested in!:mrgreen:

Godspeed64, a keeley modded RAT can be done via our local modders/builders. Its nothing much in terms of technical stuff.

karfty, you pasted a picture of the TUBE cricket. Thor666 has the Noisy Cricket. Which I used to own. It will do bedroom level volumes. Fun toy to have around.

It's a fun bedroom amp yea... if you want pristine cleans steer clear! But it's sweet if you just want to muck around and don't mind decent cleans.
