Assault Moshing (Baybeats 2007 @ www.gigvideos.com)

moshing isn't wrong. in fact much moshing nowadays has livened up loads of gigs than lampost crowds which were simply excess baggage. they don't even applause for the bands after their set.

however as threadstarter, (side topic : first time my thread so popular btw. ) back, it's just that i hope moshers could kindly be a little more gentler. remove the word "assault" from the action.
cos if this goes on, more kids new to the scene will think "moshing = assault" than just fun body slam. and slowly all gigs will turn out to be some kinda riot.

Actually, this would be less of a problem if everyone banded together and got the bandanna-swinging dimwits to stop screaming bloody murder and attempting a public display of their self-perceived testicular fortitude through killing each other. I've lost count of the number of times those morons have elbowed me in the face.

I blame the idiots who invented ninja moshing. A large chunk of the local kids have gone all aggro on us and practically turned it into a secular tradition on the scene.

perhaps they should just be mindful of who they are moshing in proximity to. Like ease off when someone who dosent want to be inside, got stuck.

and give a helping hand to someone whos fallen down.

YES!
we shall pull people who fall in a moshpit up and help 'shield' people who are on the floor in the moshpit when others around are not aware!

I think the feeling would be nice to pull someone up, and to be pulled up.
