Artec: Analog Delay SE-ADL

bumping this thread for shred!

Hey shred, you doubts been answered somewhere by some people in another foreign forum out to demolish the secret and hype in effect..

artec delay is a digital, but analog voiced delay. The main chip used inside for the delay processing, is a PT2399 chip. You can google for the spec sheet of it. Infact some of diy delay pedals round the diy circle, are based on this chip.

Other chip/components inside are smt type. No BBD

Hey Pathin, thank you!

I was suspicious when I saw the pricing... then I got a peep at the insides of some Moen digital delay pedal and it was SMT components. They are similar priced... so I was like, right, the REAL deal in a smaller, lighter pedal @ a cheap price? No way!

And yes, its a no.

PT chip is famous loh. PB&J, Artec Delay, Moen Delay, BYOC delay, Subdecay EchoBox, etc etc etc... many many pedals using.

bcos in the DIY circle, groundwork already laid down by the nice DIY people for the dodgy manufacturers to copy lor...

I also wanna release "ANAL-ROGUE" delay!

just a question...
is it normal for this pedal to squeal out (take note squeal, not feedback) when i turn the REPEAT knob to full?

i hope someone can enlighten me.:)
