Anyways,i didn't get to go to the Avenged concert last friday,i'm in the middle of my O levels now,so i didn't get to see them.But from whut i saw on youtube,they were quite good,in my opinion.Perhaps it was the quality of the video(not that good) that made me think so.

Okay,so i know Synyster Gates have influences,like Dimebag Darrell and Slash.I like these guys too.I listen to Walk and Sweet Child O' Mine and all,yeah they're good,but,you know,i'd prefer Beast and the Harlot or Afterlife anyday.I mean,not dissing Slash or Dimebag in any way.

i love jp deep deep...SRV, clapton, vai, nuno, kotzen, morse, gilbert, satch and many many others...

Yea, gotta agree with Dime, they're getting too mainstream( sorry Synester). BUT everyones got their opinions and preferences, and syn is awesome in his own right as well.

oh they call themselves maggots cos the band themselves called their fans maggots. and somehow despite the OBVIOUS negative connotation that is meant to insult, the fans love it. so they stick with the insult and feel that they are being loved by calling each other maggots.

i would gladly change a single letter in that word (ie maggots) for their fanboys, but not worth the risk of getting banned here

note: i said FANBOYS not FANS. so if you're just a casual fan, dont take this to heart.

all right,for those of you who say Avenged is getting more and more mainstream(yeah you too RY7):

It's true that they're becoming less and less metalcore and more singing are implemented into their songs,but listen to songs like Afterlife,Scream,Critical Acclaim,A Little Piece Of Heaven.You don't get songs like this on mainstream bands.Mainstreams bands are bands like All American Rejects,Blink 182,Avril Lavigne blahblahbalhbablh,these bands don't shred on guitar solos and they certainly implement much less guitar duels in their songs.The songs i mentioned have A7X written over,it's bursting with Avenged flavour.How about The Rev's brutality on drums?How about M.Shadows's voice?How about Johnny Christ,who cracks everyone up with his antics?How about the distinctive twin riffs and solos by Synyster Gates and Zacky Vengeance?
