i enjoy listening to metal music, and have an aversion to black lyrics so i'm one of those who appreciate the existence of a christian metal scene, because then i can enjoy both the music and the meaning of the song without contradicting my own beliefs.

like. chinese music are meant for people who understand chinese. people who dun understand can listen to their tune or etc.. for christian songs, the bands like hillsongs wanted to tell everyone about God and that's what they do. There isnt anything wrong as music is a form of art and art does not have right or wrong. Like for some satanist, they got great guitar skills... fame... money etc. and they want to create music to make people know the satan. in music sense, it is not wrong. but in 'religious' perspect, it is very wrong if u believe in Christ. Every music with vocals in them got a purpose. some want to be emo... some want to express what they wanted like "through glass" by stone sour... and some created a story like some fairytales... I feel that people should know what they want to listen and what they like.. and it's also better to be caution about some spiritual things. it's better to believe in it... like many rock stars suddenly die... and robert johnson's story is also quite scary...
