Haha. j_m_s, I agree the apple part was wrong. I'd admit my mistake on that part. Refusion does not symbolize admittance to being wrong. I'm sure the Bible isn't propaganda. Religion demands it's believers to trust in its words without any doubt, for doubt itself is sin. Hence religion is blind. And propaganda is very much valid in the Bible.

@ yy, at least to me. i dont have a religion. I only have a relationship with god.

Thats my POV. That what i believe and have faith in, is not a religion but a growing relationship with god, who i know sent his son to die and pay the price for my sins(The wages of sin is death, in the book of romans)

I dont disrespect your views. But please be more ethical and have MORE respect for other people's POVs and "religions".

Ethical? I don't want to this to sidetrack but morality is subjective and what human beings perceive for them to be. Hence not applicable.

I do respect other people's perspectives, have I ever hurled profanity at anyone or not back my own beliefs up?

if you want to know about a certain religion,be it Christianity,Taoism,Hinduism, what is the best place to ascertain facts and knowledge

you clarify it with the persons who have dedicated their life to do thier religions' work-be it a pastor, priest or monk.

not by googling...btw the Dubai thing,have you checked it out yet????

if you are not in Singapore, tell me where you are and I would fly over to your place and clarify the matter with you personally.

we can look up all the differences that is posted here, get a respected religious figure to answer our questions.

at the end of the day,if we are not a li'l bit wiser...we are actually more stupid than we think we really are

Ascertain should not be the word, more of consider, don't you think? Not by googling? Now, now, World Wide Web is also reliable to a certain degree and it allows a wider range of insights.

believe in the existence of God or lack thereof

if its within our ability to lend a hand,i believe most if not all of us would gladly do so..

be it religion or lack thereof, every one of us are bonded by a term called "mankind"

We would passed casual joking remarks about each other beliefs and race but it was never intend to cause hurt or embarassment to each other.when i was married, both of them were my best men..just imagined 1 super cheem english and 1 hokkien beng negotiating thru the "checkpoints"...
