An Interesting Conversation

Haha. j_m_s, I agree the apple part was wrong. I'd admit my mistake on that part. Refusion does not symbolize admittance to being wrong. I'm sure the Bible isn't propaganda. Religion demands it's believers to trust in its words without any doubt, for doubt itself is sin. Hence religion is blind. And propaganda is very much valid in the Bible.

To fuzz, if that was meant to be sarcastic, then I apologize that I don't catch your drift. (:

And now, I'm a he.

To daryl, we are arguing about apples because I'm but untaught in the field of Genesis.

Sure, they might be more reliable. Biased because these associations were set up in the first place to promote Islam.

oh sorry

read earlier post by soft, thought it was a she

these associations biased???
ok lah bro...you are the most knowledgable person here..

did I assume anything???
well well well......

I never said I was. Now what makes you assume I'm a he? (:

Sarcasm is very much detectable in there. I actually lack in religious knowledge by a big notch compared to most of you.

Continue the discussion.

@ yy, at least to me. i dont have a religion. I only have a relationship with god.

Thats my POV. That what i believe and have faith in, is not a religion but a growing relationship with god, who i know sent his son to die and pay the price for my sins(The wages of sin is death, in the book of romans)

I dont disrespect your views. But please be more ethical and have MORE respect for other people's POVs and "religions".

Cheers.

Ethical? I don't want to this to sidetrack but morality is subjective and what human beings perceive for them to be. Hence not applicable.

I do respect other people's perspectives, have I ever hurled profanity at anyone or not back my own beliefs up?

ok dear

in your opinion, "these associations were set up in the first place to promote Islam = biased."

for that, i do not have anything else to say..

if you want to know about a certain religion,be it Christianity,Taoism,Hinduism, what is the best place to ascertain facts and knowledge

you clarify it with the persons who have dedicated their life to do thier religions' work-be it a pastor, priest or monk.

not by googling...btw the Dubai thing, have you checked it out yet????

if you are not in Singapore, tell me where you are and I would fly over to your place and clarify the matter with you personally.

we can look up all the differences that is posted here, get a respected religious figure to answer our questions.

at the end of the day,if we are not a li'l bit wiser...we are actually more stupid than we think we really are

PEACE and I LOVE EVERY-ONE HERE!!!!!!

its getting too hot for this cook in this kitchen..i getting outta here...
fuzztremecho 0 everyone else +1

that's why i said i'm on a different page.

the term God means different things to me, and not strictly the einsteinian sense as you call it.

Ascertain should not be the word, more of consider, don't you think? Not by googling? Now, now, World Wide Web is also reliable to a certain degree and it allows a wider range of insights.

You would fly over? Sure. I'm in Vietnam. Come, then. I'd be glad to have fellow Singaporean company.

Last statement did not make much sense. Who is it to define wise?

thanks for posting it, might have been pretty bold to do it.
but it was a good philosophical read to me, than a religious one.

Ethical. I mean. by not calling a book they live by propaganda. Dont you think thats too much?

each individual have the right to believe
believe in the existence of God or lack thereof

hey..whatever we choose to believe in,
in whatever circumstances or dire straits we are in,no matter how difficult it is,
if its within our ability to lend a hand,i believe most if not all of us would gladly do so..

be it religion or lack thereof, every one of us are bonded by a term called "mankind"
the blood is always red unless you're sick of course...might be darker red or lighter red...hehehehe

I'm a Muslim and my best friends are a Christian and an atheist. We would passed casual joking remarks about each other beliefs and race but it was never intend to cause hurt or embarassment to each other.when i was married, both of them were my best men..just imagined 1 super cheem english and 1 hokkien beng negotiating thru the "checkpoints"...

for fellow bros who have served NS, i'd guess we might know a little better...if 1 make mistake, everyone kena pump..

what i am not comfortable with is making statements that Christianity originated in Germany, Allah= to surrender....etc

all these statements were made without careful consideration or research done..and it can be conceived as inflammatory...

yy fuctup
my apologies if my postings were deemed a lil "hot" but i do felt like introducing my pinkie, ring, middle, fore and thumb to you till i realise you are just a young woman..

i am not a woman-beater...am a woman-lover

To, j_m_s, not exactly. Mein Kempf one good example. You'd cheer if I call it propaganda.

Don't bring up NS, at least don't just refer it to "bros", females are capable too. I know that feeling. NCC taught me a lot.

Without careful research? I did read up.

I guess your priority would be the middle. Young woman? Now you assume I'm young and I'm female.

Isn't everybody a lover?

Allah is a synonym to another Arabian word, which seemed to have slipped my mind. And that particular word means "to surrender".

And Dubai, I've given you the proof. Perhaps it was a wrong intepretation. Nonetheless, it's proof.

you called that proof???

Allah is not "to surrender"
and which Arabian word is that dear...do you speak Arabian??
then might as well i start conversing in Arabian to you...

Assalammualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarahkatuh

antay an'nisa ?

hul khalast sadiq?
