AMT Pedals

Anyone tried or have AMT pedals before. Im curious if they are gd. Any reviews on their pedals would b nice.
I saw a vid Mattias IA uses Fatal Tube and it sounds like his signature sound even though he is playing thru a gorilla 35 watts amp and not his Laney which he plays direct.

They are great sounding pedals. I used to own a fatal tube but sold it off and got a metallizer which I think is discontinued.

How does the fatal tube sound compare to metallizer? Anyone tried the tube platinum before, it got a tube in it

personally i prefer, AMT OD/DS pedals over Boss stock anytime. the Fatal Tube is a overdrive pedal that has tons of gain/sustain, while retaining its warm OD charachter.

Mattias' demo showed how a great player like him can get comfortable with the Fatal Tube. keeping in mind also, his wonderful guitar and amp complementing the pedal.

The Metallizer n Du-Hast (formerly Rammstein), are made for Metal.

the Platinum Tube has a very interesting tone (head down to davis, test, like it, buy).

edit - btw, i use the Fatal Tube in my setup at the House of Rock pub. axe is a POT loaded w/BareKnuckle Warpig pickups - running into a JCM800 head/cab 4X12.

i like the california sound pedal, but i called davis but they didn't have that pedal, couldn't even have a chance to try it. haha. fatal tube sounds great to me too, i might juz get it. its quite cheap anyway. haha

Fatal Tube is a great pedal, very tweakable..wish i could have gotten the fatal tube clone with two extra knobs to tweak..it's discontinued so i might never be able to try it

no the fatal tube clone..it's basically a fatal tube with two more knobs..one's mic simulation and another maybe cab can't quite remember..

Paulo, how much u bought it for?

the amount i paid wont tally with dealers, coz i bought the Fatal Tube off a buddy (fellow softie), who wanted to try modded pedal combos. during that period, the pedal was out of stock, over a year at Davis. also, i run my amp semi-driven, the FT kicks in sweet :)

BTW how much do the Fatal Tube / Calif. Sound cost here in Sg? On many websites in the US they are listed at US$110-115.

what is played in the soundclips are sale strategic. the California Sound impresses, yes.

as for drive pedals above $200 range, i'd highly recommend to head down to mrmisse, and test-run the Crowthe Audio's Hotcake n Bluesberry pedals or the Mi-Audio Crunch-Box or Tubezone at Guitar77. its a good headache having more options.

yeah, after watching all those J Mc Coy demo vids on skreddy, i'd say a great pedal for blues-rock fuzz tones. just that its not my cup of tea, i'd rather stick to AMTs, still its an option for those looking out for pedals.
