one thing I noticed about the cube30... the 3 band EQ is not very... ah... well, the EQ seems to affect a very narrow range of frequencies.

When I upped the mids, I don't hear much of a thickening effect, as when a range of mid freq is raised, but more of like raising a slider on the Boss GE7, you just get more awwww out of your tone. I could NOT stand it! The EQ was just... ugh....

For that matter... the cleans of the cube30... its just thin and uber clean. Thats it.

Anyone else have anythign to say on this?

I agree totally. I felt that there was something wrong with the clean. Something is lacking. Not anywhere near the realm of JC120. It would have been preferable to have just reverb and nothing else. The effects were quite useless to me. Well, I guess thats why I sold it.

Thin and uber clean, that sums up the jc series for ya.
For great clean sounds, try fender amps. Hmm wonder why no one mentioned them yet. The fender 30w solid state that i have gives a very warm and full sound. At vol 3, its already too loud for the house.

Simply unbeatable clean tone, dirty channel is ok, well u have stomp boxes for that.
