$30 fine for eating sweet

O.o there's a 7-11 at Queenstown MRT. Adn there are many many food shops there as well. Wonder who got caught so far

This, is absurb. SMRT really did it this time.

Sigh. Double standards
 
Soon ridiculous rules such as no running,no sleeping in trains etc might be stupidly implementedby SMRT.If it happens I'm gonna get my own form of transportation.
 
Whoever typed that wall of text is slightly retarded. The signs there clearly state "no eating or drinking", plastered inside the MRT station. Plus the woman already let him/her off and they drank even more. Plus isolated incident =/= company policy.
 
I don't recall any at Woodlands MRT at the ticketing counter. Neither do I recall any at Queenstown MRT. And I've seen many people eat/drink inside the station, at places at the ticketing counter and top-up machines and such
 
HAHAHA my area mrt station have shops selling FOOD, DRINKS etc. MR BEAN shop, Cheers / 711. AHAHA! Liddat, SMRT sure earn alot from those summons from people eating/drinking.

What pissed me/us off the most is the part, ' i catch you first, so i don't care what others are doing ' sighh.... Seeing others eating old chang kee sumore, playing skateboard sumore. wah wah...
 
Eating Old Chang Kee is a blatant break of rules. It could dirty the place. Skateboarders could seriously injure people. What happened if that skateboarder wasn't careful, hit someone and really injured that person? That auntie would be at blame for not ensuring safety, which is even more important then who's eating/drinking.

Eating/drinking, if spilt, can be cleaned up. If someone is injured, may not even be cured 100%
 
this is stupid n retarded! IT is just a damn sweet. They just cant be fixable for a little item.. This is crazy, what a rule. Soon all the bus will have the same stuff
 
This reminds me. I got a verbal but stern warning about almost 3 weeks back by the SMRT staff who caught me popping one of my lozenges from the doc into my mouth. I kinda tried to reason with him that I had been plagued with a nasty sore throat but he didn't seem too bothered lah...He told me the next time, I'll be fine. :???:

Whether that guy technically broke the law or not, that does not warrant the behaviour of the MRT auntie all the same. She acted in the most... Hmm. Barbaric of ways, I'll dare say
